Software Park Thailand Profile

Software Park Thailand is a government agency under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) of the Ministry of Science and Technology. It was established as part of the National Information Technology Plan to stimulate the development of the Thai software industry by attracting local and international partners to form a cluster of software-related businesses supported by world-class infrastructure and technologies. Software Park Thailand acts as a center to provide appropriate facilities and to support marketing, funding co-ordination, technology transfer, and incubation of software entrepreneurs.

The four main roles of Software Park Thailand are:

1. Technology transfer to professionals and organizations.
2. Marketing of Thai software businesses at the local and global level, and matching venture capital investors with local developers/ entrepreneurs.
3. Incubation of software entrepreneurs during start up period.
4. Facilitation of technical infrastructure and operational space.

These roles are performed by the operation units within Software Park Thailand; i.e., Technology Transfer, Business Development, Incubator Facility, Technical Infrastructure and other specialized programs set up with our technology and business partners.
